An annual subscription is payable by members of DACE. This is used to support the work done by DACE through the Executive Committee, conferences and reports, and part represents a subscription fee paid to DIAKONIA World Federation and DIAKONIA Region - Africa and Europe (this is an amount per member of DACE).
The subscription is due 1 January each year and for 2007 is based on a figure of £30 per member. Those not in paid employment and those who are retired are asked to pay what they can, but at least £18. New members joining between October and December will be deemed to have paid subscription to the end of the following year (i.e. £30 paid in October 2007 will be taken as full subscription paid to the end of December 2008). Subscription rates for 2008 will be set in September 2007.
Payment may be made by cheque or bank Standing Order (a form is available from the Membership Secretary).
Any member wishing to pay by Gift Aid is encouraged to do so in order to help keep subscriptions at a low rate. Please tick the declaration on the Application Form if you wish to do this. Similarly, any donations by CAF Voucher of £34 or more (in lieu of subscription) will be most welcome (but must be at least £34 because of tax refunds already available via CAF).
